What is SoundBody Touch Therapy?

This experience combines the transformative powers of sound + touch to bring you into deep states of relaxation by releasing restorative hormones and neurotransmitters into your body. This will bring you into a state of bliss that, with regular practice, can lift your mood and outlook on life, and upgrade your self image (aka your operating system!).

How will a SoundBody Touch Therapy session help me?

You will experience a state of energetic coherence and receptivity that will have you feeling like you’re floating on a cloud, and will signal the release of healing and restorative chemicals that trigger your body’s own natural healing systems.

Ultimately, this can free you from symptoms of overwork and chronic doing, childhood trauma, intergenerational trauma (epigenetic inheritance), AHDH, anxiety, depression, feelings of isolation, social issues, difficulty with sleep and rest, and more.

Who should have a SoundBody Touch Therapy session?

In these times, everyone can benefit from a SoundBody Touch Therapy session and it requires nothing of you but to lay there like blob. You will especially find relief if you are a working parent, live with ADHD, struggle to connect with others, or feel guilty for relaxing.

How should I prepare ahead of time?

Arrive with your human needs taken care of so you can relax and you’re not distracted during your session. Eat a light meal, come hydrated, and take a moment to use the bathroom before getting situated on the table. You do not need to do anything mentally to prepare for the session. The best way to maximize your experience is to relax as deeply as you feel comfortable with and allow the experience to do its magic.

What should I expect during my session?

We will meet in a private room where you will begin by making yourself comfortable on my massage table. I strongly encourage you to dress so that your back can be comfortably exposed to receive the light energy touch. There will be draping cloths as needed to make sure you feel safe. If you’ve ever received a massage, this will feel familiar.

I will begin by taking a brief energetic scan and will then guide you into a deeply relaxed state with crystal singing bowls.

After you are in a theta brainwave state, I will apply light energy touch at certain points along your back, head, neck, arms, and/or hands, to signal the release of serotonin, dopamine, and oxytocin into your body. This will make you feel even more relaxed and also energized at the same time.

What should I wear for my session?

Please dress in whatever will allow you to feel the most comfortable. Loungewear may be ideal. For maximum results, you will want your back and arms uncovered. There will be plenty of draping cloths and privacy to make sure you feel comfortable and safe.
